It has nothing to do with racing. I just hate the clunk from the OEM and the vibration it gives off!

Shaftmasters FTW! I have the 3.5", no problems at all. Although I've heard they only sell the 4" now.

I have a coast - no problems and a great mod.

^ +1. I've had the Shaftmasters installed for about 6 months now, and I love it; no issues at all.

are you sure the clunk is from the 2 piece DS and not the transmission?
you hear more people complain about 1 piece DS vibration than you do from a OEM 2 piece.

dont get me wrong, i have a spydershaft and i like it, but for those that are not going to race, you may be better off leaving the OEM 2 piece in there.

I have a downshifting clunk from 3->2 and 2->1 most of the time (but doesn't do it all the time) and it was present before and after the alum DS. I'm thinking mine is trans fluid related.

I didn't feel a bit of slack in the rear when I was putting in the shaft.
