Tell you the truth, I really don't recall having to tell the SCT handheld I had longtubes. There was an option to enable/disable the rear o2's. I know that because I had an off-road pipe and needed to disable the rear o2's.

I had longtubes, full exhaust including off-road pipe, C&L racer intake and 4.10 gears without a dyno and/or mailorder tune. Did it all with the SCT handheld and ran that way for about 6 months. And it put down 295rwhp/308rwtq. Not the optimal setup but I did a couple of dyno runs on a local tuners dynojet to get those numbers and while the a/f wasn't optimal it was within a safe range (rich).

I now have a dyno tune with a Diablosport Predator handheld. It's been a while since I had the SCT setup but that's how I ran it w/o issues. you'll be fine until you can get the mailorder tune revised.

Yea, just a few miles north of current location. Last time I went by it looked like it will be awhile yet before the move.

Ok so your saying I don't need it right away, rather than period? I know it will just take an email to get it, and will prob have it before they even arrive. Anyone confirm that not retuning can cause the car to run lean/rich?

My understanding is that they were moving into temporary space until the new building is done.

I think a email tune is $75.

Please, can anyone confirm that running LT's w/o a new tune (already have 91 for JLT) will cause the car to run rich/lean?

I've been waiting 2 weeks for a tune fix for my new tune for my long tubes, I did not get a cel until I loaded the new Brenspeed tune LOL. I called today, also got the machine. They will be busy when they get back but I'll be patient.
