Help Please...Thinking about Spoiler Delete

I removed my spoiler last summer.
But being a lazy person, I just used black tape from the inside to cover the holes.
It's been under 4 inches of snow for days and lots of rain and no leaking whatsoever.

yeah the plugs seem to be the best solution, along with the touch up paint. i know you can buy touch up paint at oreilly's or autozone for like $5 and it does the job really well. thats if you want to keep the price lower. if you really want a new trunk lid, more power to you.

Ive done it. i didn't paint them though i wasnt really thinking. My problem was i just bought 1/2" plugs and cut the bottoms off because they were too big and siliconed them from the inside. But it works, no leaks and is not that noticable.
I have seen a picture on here before of someone painting there and it looked great. Id recomend painting them if you can, if your going the plug route.
rshamekh: I had blue painters tape on mine, on the inside for about a week to see if i liked it also. Go figure it would rain the entire week, but no leaks haha

The only problem i had was the adhesive knicked the paint up so there is a outline of the base of the wing on the car that wont come off. Unless your on top of the trunk you don't see it. Make sure you use heat and good string and take you time. Remeber the surface under the wing will be visable now
