Default Brake install help!!

All, please help I never really done this before, so please....help!!!!

I received the GT500 used calibers and so I wanted to install the J&M SS lines. However when taking the old lines off and trying to put the new lines on I noticed I can't get the copper washer off the screw (on both calibers). Do I just need to get new washers/screws?

If that is the case, which ones do I get??

Please, please let me know.

Thank you!!!!!!!

Just hold the bolt in your hand and tap it with hammer or screw driver, the crush washer will come off,you should replace them though.

you should be able to use the old banjo bolts and just replace the crush washers, you should be able to buy them at any auto part stores.just bring the old one to get the right size.

The old ones appear to be a bit smaller than the bolt - is that normal?

After looking I think I know the size of the washer. It gave me a scare since I thought I had all the parts. Thank goodness you can reuse quite a few bolts and etc from the stock parts.

Its supposed to give you more a a "firmer" brake pedal feel, and besides I was doing the brakes and I figure why not - I still need to do the bleeding. Some say do it, other say no need to.

I picked the J&M lines from American Muscle and it was shipped to me that night and I received it next day

On another note, what size washer is required? I thought I found it, but I think I'm off a bit...

EDIT: Here is some report if you want to read it: http://www.goodridge.net/usa/pdf/all...s_v_rubber.pdf

Well, I found out what washers were needed. I asked tituswillfordparts and they said EOAZ-2149-B. Just a FYI to all.

They are $0.77 cents each each :/
