Default Need Info On New Mustang

Ok, in the next year I am looking at buying a 2005 or 2006 GT but I need to know a few things. What should I look for as far as options and such. Can the Traction Control be turned off? Also it will be a manual, so how do the shifters feel, are they notchy or anything? This will be my first Stang so I want to do it right. I know insurance is gonna rape me because I am 18 now but will be 19-20 when I get it. Thanks for any info, it is greatly appreciated.

Traction control can be turned off with a button just above the stereo.

Some tuners will cut the taction control off if you don't want to hit the button all the time.

I agree with you but it is a option that some people are using.

wouldn't it be cool if they could just default it to off and you turn it on when you DO want it... you know... opposite of how it behaves by default.

The manual for the Predator says it can reverse the ON/OFF functions of TCS in some vehicles. Evidently, the '05 Mustang isn't one of them because I tried it to do it on mine, and I couldn't. [:@]
