well this thread is dead but i just had to say it happened to me again i was planning on going to see the GTCS on Friday but guess what its gone .FMyLife

There out there budd, I missed out on another 06 before I bought mine and now that I have mine I am happy I lost out, the other car was nice, it was a lower price but I feel I got the better car now, all good things go to those who waits, remember that. Things happen for a reason. Be patient, the right car will come along.

Whatever you do don't get so hungry you start wanting to snap cars up. Let them go. Find yourself a good deal and be a shrewd buyer. It makes so much more sense.

That said not everyone is getting new GTs for 21 grand. Only certain dealerships have run deals like that not all of them. Many of them are still expecting 26 grand for a brand new loaded premium GT.

Buy as new as you can. With all the various problems with the 05, 06's I'm glad I went with my 08. Take your time.

I looked for almost 2 months before I bought my 05 and Im happy I did. I checked out at least 40-50 Stangs before I bought this one, it was a 1 owner with 20K miles and I gave 16K for it and have not had a single problem with it! Hang in there and you will find a sweet deal!
