Stang got broken into last night:(
Well it could have been worse, they just kinda smashed out the passanger side window and ran off. I didnt get outside in time to do anything irrational thank god. So, I'm gonna take care of the glass replacement in the next couple days. Anybody have any good tricks for getting the glass out of the door? I've never known any mobile glass companies to even try and most body shops including the one I work at suck at removing glass from inside the door.

Sorry to hear that bud, it sounds like it could have been alot worse. As for the glass, just use a good vacuum and take your time. Remove the door panel yourself before the glass guy comes and do the cleaning yourself. Good Luck.

yup, I'm actually going to go that route. Insurance will always try to sell you on a mobile glass repair but they use oee glass which is not at all on par with the ford oem stuff. I'm at least going to buy an oem glass from the dealer and have my shop install it.

that sucks...you just have to find the right glass man to get it done right. someone broke into my expedition not too long ago and broke out the front passenger window. a glass guy came to my house, took all the panels and trim off, got every single piece of glass out of my truck, and replaced my window with tint for $150
