I bought my car from Carmax too. I used my thumbnail and removed the remainding residue with rubbing alcohol. Very easy.

Thanks guys for all the great ideas! I ended up using the stripper pole one and it came off easy!

I heated mine up a little with a hairdryer and it came right up with my thumb nail. Then I used a little gas on a clean rag to take the sticky stuff off... then waxed it.
