Default s197 v-6 MPG is wrong

Ok guys. according to the EPA my 07 pony pkg v-6 should be getter 24-25 mpg highway.

im here to tell you that i consistently get 27-28 mpg and I AM A HARD DRIVER.

i drive my mustang the way it should be driven.

can any v-6 drivers back me up on this?

only reason i bring it up is cuz the EPA put camaro v-6 at 29mpg highway.

1) Wrong section.
2) The day a 3800 lb. Camaro gets 29 mpg. is when pigs fly.
3) Theres no right way to drive a V6 Mustang.

How are you figuring your mileage? Are you hand calculating or using the on-board "I-Can't Count-My-Own-Toes" computer? The on-board is typically 1-2 MPG conservative. Also, are you complaining about getting better gas mileage (assuming your calcs are correct) than you expected to get?

I can't speak on the V6 Camaro but who'd of thunk that a V8 Mustang can get 26 MPG or better highway (and that's off-highway pump-to-pump, hand calculated; not an instantaneous downhill with a 70 MPH tailwind punch-the-reset figure).

Lol speaking of that, ive seen 99 mpg for a few seconds right after hitting the reset button. Always makes me wonder... Then it levels out aound 30+ if im crusing at 60. Its easy to get high 20s on the highway, just the city roads that kill me. Spend almost as much gas on the 5 minute trip to work as i do the 45 minute trip to school.... well maybe not but you get the idea
