WMS Stealth Hood Pins
Last night I installed my new WMS Stealth Hood Pins. Fot those that don't know what they are, here is the link:
http://www.wmsracing.com/wmsweb/hoodpins.htm
Installation was a pain in the rear, and the instructions kind of sucked because the pictures were too small to make out but I eventually managed to get them installed.
That being said, I'd recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to drill his or her hood and still make sure the hood doesn't fly off. With them adjusted the hood doesn't budge a millimeter.
Fit and finish are top notch and everything is included.
I'm sorry I couldn't make a detailed installation guide but I was working alone and grimy hands and cameras don't mix well, but tonight I'll take off the grill and show the finished product up close so anyone interested in installing them can see where the brackets go.
In the meantime, here is the finished product.

you don't drill through he hood to the top. just the underside i think. actually i think i read the bottom is held on with 3m tape?? not 100% sure though. main point is you don't drill all the way through the hood

Well, you don't have to drill the top of the hood, the underside is easy to cover (even with vinyl or stickers) if you decide to remove them, but once you drill the top of the hood that's it.

As Mikey said, the no-drill is so that you dont have to have pins poking through your hood, and can still get rid of the hood shake, the bottom may have to be drilled into the core support, but the top pins replace the rubber stops that the factory hood has or at least go where the factory rubber stops would be when the hood is closed... I am going to order a set of these as I really like the idea... Damn Canadians with all their good ideas!
