shake? It won't move at all even if I pull it with my hands from the corners. Closes like a bank vault. For the hood to fly off you'd need all three locks to fail at once.

What are the odds of the hood flying open with only the stock lock?

I'd say chances are slim to none.

I like I wonder if they would work on my Truefiber GTS3 hood I like that you can feel secure about the hood staying closed.

javi i'm pretty sure they will work with any hood. the gts has the same groove and location for the bump stops as the stock hood.

The problem with fiberglass is that it might not be strong enough to hold the screws in. The kit comes with self-tapping screws. On the metal they hold on tight but might strip the fiberglass.

Maybe, but at 145+MPH it's scary to see it flutter like it wants to pop open. ;-)

How much did those run you? Also, where do those cables go? Are they connected to the hood release or is there something in the grille you have to pull to release them before you pop the hood?
