Well....in theory and on paper, it does sound better than the Shaker 500 deck....just not necessarily with the Shaker's speakers.

It took a bit of tweaking to get mine to sound decent with the stock speakers

 

Ok.. wtf. Skarkull sent me his setting and i tried them on my unit. Welp, not much luck. Anyone have any suggestions on what it could be? Do i have to take it back to the installed? What should i say is wrong? Sorry... complete audio noob.


Heres Skarkulls settings and he is VERY happy with it. We both have the exact same decks and shaker500s.

Well for starters I think your High Pass Frequency is waaaay to low. And also, turn off "loudness."

Set your HPF to 80HZ or even a higher 120hz. Then play with the volume and clarity.
