Default damn ford mechanics....

alright guys i just had a chance to put my car on one of the lifts here at work. i started a thread like monday saying that i smelled oil when under heavy acceleration. now i know why. the dumba$$ oil change tech at ford only tightened the drain plug with his hand. i just took it almost all the way out with just my fingers. i walked up under the engine with the car on the rack and see this oil on the bottom of the oil pan. look at the tech and said wtf i got an oil leak.
only lost a 1/4-1/2 a quart but still. i went on a 650 mile round trip road trip 4 days after i had it done. how hard is it to take a wrench and tighten something down. oh well. was trying to help ford out a little bit by giving them some business. but now im going back to having my guys at the dealer i work at do all my work. lesson learned..
sorry for the rant

you take it to the dealership to get the oil changed?
I would take it to the dealership even if it was falling apart!

next time, change your oil at home, a jack and a pair of jackstands do wonders.

Wait, you work at a dealership so you can just put it up on the lift and DIY. Damn, too easy! And you don't have to dispose of the oil on your own. Man, I'm ashamed of you. LOL!

Yeah, There's no way I need it to be that easy for the oil to leave my engine.
