Default LT question

My former exhaust setup was just SLP LM's and that was it. Then I switched over to the Pypes MM's and an O/R H Pipe and I feel like I lost some low end torque when I changed the exhaust. I'm planning on doing LT's soon and was wondering if I'm gonna lose even more low end torque because of the even free-er flowing exhaust I will have. I will have an O/R H Pipe still so the scavenging effect of an X-Pipe won't apply. Anyone have experience? When going from stock headers to LT's, both with O/R midpipes, do you gain hp/torque across the board or only up high?

heres the LT header comparison. all the headers picked up low end tq except the stainless works. but the greatest gains are made up top. i have no before and after dyno comparisons myself, i only dyno'd after the LT install, but it did feel like i picked up low end tq.

LT headers seem to make you feel like you lose low end torque because you gain so much up top and so little at the bottom. In reality you don't loose anything at the bottom though. That's the feeling my Mac LT's gave me.

ya its just your mind playing tricks on you. you dont loose any and the amount you may feel you lost from removing your cats and going with a o/r mid pipe is so small I doubt u could feel it, I think its from seen a few otehrs post the same type of thread now alot of people really think they can feel a 5-7 diffrence in hp and tq wiich I dont see how. I changed my set up and mid pipes like 6 diff times totoal with the diff mufflers I had and mid pipes and I didnt notice a diffrence at all, only thing I did notice is that when I had the stock mid pip on it felt faster cause the car was alot less noisey.

Mikeys Gt had his AR installed and gained like 28tq and was running a o/r pro chamber before now its a o/r x
