Default Is something wrong with me or my car? ?

Alright so here's the deal.. I took off for California for two months on New Years and was away from the car. Came home for about 3 weeks and drove my car like mad. Still had the *** to seat feeling everytime i hit the gas lol. I took off for California again for a week and just got back on sunday. I get back in my car all excited to drive and get that feeling back only to not get that feeling. I thought maybe it was just a fluke cause i had just got off the airplane. but no today im getting the same NO feeling..i know i am goin fast but im just not feeling the torque, i guess...COULD something be wrong with my car or is it just me? is this a sign i need to start modding?..i know my car is pretty quick stock but im just not getting the feeling anymore..HELP!!

Is the car showing the check engine light at all? If not, I'd have to assume it's operating normally.

And what were you doing in California that numbed the senses?

You might want to try resetting the adaptive learning by disconnecting the battery. And IF changing the oil and filter (as FullThrottle suggested) changes anything that much I'll eat the old filter.

i had the same problem. i took my car in for it's first service. (forgot to change out the oil before, now i do it ever 3k) and i felt a HUGE difference. i was hitting the shifts harder, pulling off the line faster. at least those were my impressions. cause after the 2nd service, the same feeling was not present.

now i just want to mod.
