Where to get hood struts?

So many decisions to make????

 

i havent heard many people with hypertech tunes, i would go with diablo and K&N, im wanting a forced induction for mine down the road.

 

You seen mine in person, so you know what I would say.

Get the Redline hood struts... there is a thread on here for a group buy... save $10.

 

Don, you plan on stripes ever?
Blue is in my mind more n more every day, Thinkin Whites stripes with ducktail spoiler

 

Probably not. I still haven't seen a striped Sonic Blue that made me say, "Holy ****! I want that!". And, since I plan on a shaker scoop (some day soon, I hope), I'm not sure how stripes would look with that. At the moment, I am leaning more towards some sort of "ghost" graphic painted on after the shaker and SC are done. But, I reserve the right to change my mind at any time without notice.

 

Don, I have side stripes on my car for now, and I swear my goal today is to get picks of my car so I can make my, "I got my GT, take a look" post. I have been pondering the thought of putting stripes up and over, but If I did, they'd be 10" or 12" wide, not the normal thin ones. I'll be passing by your area today Don, if you want to take a look.

I actually ordered side stripes before I even got the car... but, I had second thoughts, so I returned them.

 

Which Stripes did you have ordered for the side?

I wanted two single white stripes down each side. The dealership messed up and put the white ones that are two striped, but have the word "Mustang" on it. I can take it in to change it to the others when ever I want. I started liking these, but I wonder if it is just because they accent the car so nicely. I think just about any white stripes down the side of a blue one would look nice.

Also many people said they like that it says "Mustang" I feel that people should just know that it's a Mustang rather than have to read it.

The longer I have this car, the more I'm liking the clean, subtle, stealthy look. I'm not sure why... I just do. That's why I'm becoming less and less interested in stripes of any kind.

Don't get me wrong, the stripes look great on these cars...very "racey" looking. A lot of the cars on this forum just look frikkin awesome with the stripes.

But in my mind, I keep picturing my car the way it is now, except with the chin spoiler and a black shaker scoop poking through the hood, and some some sort of ghost hood graphic. But, really nothing else externally.
