Default summit champion 7989 for 10.95

just figured i'd pass it along, if you call summit and let them know championsparkplugs.com has the 7989 plugs for 11.95 they'll sell em to you for 10.95. my total with shipping was under 100 bucks, and i'll have them in 2 days.

now, i just gotta hope the old ones come out

Back in Apr.08 I bought 16 Champion plugs from Summit for $4.95 ea. a total of $79.20 + $9.75 handling came to $88.95 Summit also sent me a nice letter stating that the price I was quoted was incorrect but that they would still honor it though in the future the price would be much higher.
That's why I bought 16.

I think I paid around $9.95 ea. from Rockauto.com. With shipping was ~100 or so. I figured these would be the last hotter heat range plugs I would need up to 100k so I just purchased the one set.

Why are they so expensive
NGK plugs for out 5.7 in our boat are like <5 a plug at the highest.

Also who makes the "best" plugs? I dont want to risk breaking mine off untill its time to change them, or if i will see gains.

They're so expensive because they're a non-traditional design not used on many cars.

If they would jump in the game w/ some different heat ranges they may compete... but they're CHAMPION. they really didn't need to even make those odd plugs.
