If you're going to the expense of a dyno tune, I'd think you wouldn't worry about anything other than 93 octane (or whatever the highest is you can get locally). I'm sure the guys at the shop where you're having it done can give you ballpark figures. My uneducated guess would be roughly 15 RWHP from a dyno; maybe 5-10 RWHP from a Brenspeed or Bama tune.

A dyno tune for a stock vehicle is a waste of money; if you have one of the popular cai's all you need is an e-mail tune from one of the top tuners ; Brenspeed, Bama, Tillman ect. You would be lucky to gain 5 rwhp with a dyno tune. However FI is a different story, a dyno tune may gain you 30-40 rwhp over the tune that comes with the s/c., and will assure you the afr, and timing are correct to prevent the motor from exploding.

I deleted them

I sent a friend request too!

I think you can and should get a dyno tune if you have anything other then stock and requires a tune.....make sure they use a WB A/F ratio gauge and not the tail sniffer...if they do just cancel and run....email tunes are great and IMO a bit rich and more is to be had from the dyno and the tune can further be fine tuned while on the dyno....or do some datalogging and have Brenspeed or BAMA write you a more specific tune based off one of the tunes they already offer... thanks j for deleting those. dont know what was going on with the server at work this afternoon. and friendship accepted, of course and thanks for the tip on the WB A/F ration gauge. i want to know the a/f mixture throughout the rpm range anywhere. what would be a ideal number for a stock motor?
i have had a email type tune in my 07 and it was great but felt i had to retune it to much (once a month or 6 weeks) but pulled from like 2800rpm to redline and was screaming in the upper rpms. but i am getting a good deal for 3 pulls on the dyno with the tuning for what i can have bama re-fill my tuner. and i figure if i want bama's race tune and a tune from brenspeed, i still have 2 slots left on my x-cal2 for their's. and i know a dyno tune can more fine tuned to my specific car over a email tune. so why not get a good base line at where i am starting and get a good specific tune at the same time. not sure i will post the numbers on here though. bc of some of ya'll numbers insane power numbers.

IMO, save your money for mods and then dyno tune it.
