Default steering noise

so when i steer i hear a really faint wet rubbing noise. anyone know what this might be?

both ways. a really faint rubbing sound. sounds like something maybe needs to be lubed or something.

Mine has that too. I've had my car 3 weeks almost and noticed it the first time I test drove her. I just chalked it up to the lack of "fit and finish" in american cars. Let me know if you find a solution, but I hardly notice it anymore

I have that problem but I only hear it when I'm turning really slow and usually when temp is cool. There was a post somewhere on this and a Ford tech said that it was nothing serious just a part of the steering linkage needing lubrication

have it too, little louder with the 20s on.. ford dealership did nothing for it and steering works fine, im not worried about it.
