Post "SHORTY HEADERS"

Who has shorty headers on their '05 to '06 ? What brands ? How did they fit and install ? Any HP gains ? If you had to do it over again would you ? Im trying to decide if this is worth the $$ and time or not.

Thank you S197winstang for you input, while searching the threads JBA keeps coming up as a good shorty header.

You should pull your car off the lift and get the girl mechanics on yours :~)

With the Shorty heads, x-pipe, CAI and a tune I got her up to 291 rwhp. I am not sure how much the heads contributed but better breathing helps top end. I like the tone they put out as well. They are not cheap and you do need to install them at a place that you trust but you will not be dissapointed. i will get you a quote of what paid. the invoice is here somewhere.

JBA stainless steel ceramic coated headers $429.99 + tax
JBA header gaskets $29.99 + tax
Install estimate for headers and X section $480.00 so about 400 for just the headers
