Default Leather Seat Cover installation...

I know it's been a while since this thread was started but I finally got some pics up. I installed these a few months ago, but been so busy. So last night I had my brother snap me some pics so that I could share them with you guys.

I wanted to stick with the Mach Style seats, they turned out great. You can't see it in the pics but the stitching on it is silver to match the center.

This is a 2 person job. I had some help from WILKINDA, it couldn't have been done without the second set of hands. Well prolly could have but it would have SUCKED. Thanks again.

But I was curious if anyone has made a HOW-TO with actual pictures instead of diagrams?
So where did you order them from? How much? And lets see a pic!!

My factory leather is so crappy looking on the seat bottoms already that i want to get mine replaced as well

Sorry that will have to hold ya over till I get a real pic... They were $499 for the leather look ones. I had heard reports of these ones holding up better than the leather so I opted to save a few hundred bucks on that advice.

Also the stitching is done with the same color as the insert for a more custom look.

Thanks for the reply, yeah I have all those from the Roush website, they have a pretty good instruction manual that you can use for any leather seat.

But I was hoping someone had some actual pictures of them doing it. I know someone a while back had posted some, but can't find it for the life of me.

I will prolly take you up on that offer. I will let you know. End of the week or something. I need to get hog ring pliers and some hog rings first.

You know what aggravates me about our leather interiors... I have 60K miles on mine and it gets cleaned and conditioned as recommended by Ford and it looks worn. Yesterday i drove a 1993 Nissan Altima with 90K miles on it and the leather interior looked brand new. Saw a Caddy with 137K miles and the leather looked damn good with little signs of wear. What the heck is Ford's problem with the leather?? I have had several Eddie Bauer Expeditions and the same thing..premature leather wear....

I've always thought it to be American Cars in general. I have an Audi with over 100K Leather still looks new. But yeah, have seen the same with Explorers as well. That's why I got cloth seats from the begining. The cloth has held up perfect. But don't look as good as the seats I am going to put in right now.
