Well, I took off my a-pillar on the passenger side to do the TSB and I heard one of the pieces pop/break off. So I ordered the replacements from ford, but the problem is its not what I expected :/

The last one to the right is the metal retainer, the middle one is the new fastener and the first one is the original fastener.



The problem is the original one had a connector/rod to connect to the original a-pillar trim. However the new one does not.

Does anyone know the piece that would connect this correctly (please make note of that u-shaped connector)?

dont stress about this yet. just give it time and somebody will chime in. worst case senerio is u take it to the dealer and they fix it for u and u return whatever the peice is that u bought. wish i could help but this is over my head, but dont worry dude, we got ur back

 

Na I know - the car is just in pieces until I get the right piece :/ I am done stressing over it for now. I have other things to thing about Thanks for the comfort.
