I just got my C&L CAI in today, along with the Predator. I am wondering; if you remove the battery do you lose the newly installed program? The muffler shop said they had to disconnect the battery to install the JBA headers and it got me to thinking along these lines.

No.... just don't touch that mystery button under the hood though.

How do you like the CAI/Pred?

yeah. it's no problem. All you will lose is your radio presets LOL. The predator tune will still be there....just like if you unplugged your computer at home. The software is still there.

Thanks for the info guys.

Don,

I haven't had the chance to install the CAI or the tune. Yesterday was quite eventful. I got the call from the muffler shop saying the headers were in, then I got the call from Discount tires saying my tires were in. I went to Discount tires, had the wheels and tires installed and went from there to Warner's mufflers to have the headers, X pipe and flowmasters installed. I should get the car back this afternoon sometime and I'll see about getting the CAI and, perhaps, the dash kit installed.

How long does it take to install the CAI and to reprogram the car's computer?

Sweet... let's see pics of the wheels/tires! What did you get?

Very quick... maybe 20-30 minutes for the CAI, and 5-10 minutes for the flash (assuming youhave read the manual first).
