Spring Install
Thanks for the input on the alignment, guys. But at this point, I'm more concerned about what could be causing the vibration I'm having. The alignment wouldn't have anything to do with that, would it?
The two are probably not related. If they were the shop would've probably pointed it out to get money for fixing the problem.
If you put the stock rims/tires back on and it goes away, then one of your new rims is bent. You could also take it to a shop and have them 'verify' the balance or truness of them but you'll probably get charged for that. Just do the swap and see what happens.
As for the alignment. Finally PROOF that it's a good idea to get CC (Camber Caster) plates for dropped mustangs. The 'Custom' alignment sometimes includes redrilling the mounting holes for the struts to get the right angles on the strut for the changed steering angles. The CC plates avoid this and give you a greater range of alignment options.

Just a thought but did you have the arrows pointing out on the top of the struts and your springs spun in the right direction?

Well, considering you bought just about the cheapest tires possible for the car....... You get what you pay for. Kuhmo tires suck. And are cheap.
I would swap the fronts 1st with stock and drive, see how it is.
Vibration in the steering wheel usually indicates front wheel/tire issue, If its in your butt/seat then usually the rears.
Next step would be to find a shop that has a Road Force Balancer.

get your tires balanced.
get your tires balanced.
The wheels/tires were mounted and balanced by Tire Rack, but they shake pretty bad at speed. I took them to another tire place and had them rebalanced and rotated. The shimmy is still there, if not worse at higher speed.
3rd time is a charm! But one that is capable of Road Force Balancing the tires
Simular to what we have at our shop.

make sure proper torque on the lug nuts, air pressure checked.
weve had to do rebalancing a few times here, sometimes it can take a few times.
Not only road force, but match mount the tire/wheel combo to its best fitment
Really all I can offer. Put the stock wheels back on and taken for a ride yet?
