According to the Crutchfield website it will fit, but it looks like you need some sort of adaptor with it.

It will definitely fit. Actually, I haven't seen a double din yet that won't fit. I have a feeling we have a rather deep stereo bay. And that's a great deal. The discount place I usually go through wants $499 for it, and Crutchfield is $579. The ratings on Crutchfield look good.

Crutchfield says it fits. If they say it will, it definitely will. They don't just go by specs from the manufacturer. They wait until the get one in hand to make sure.

It will fit. I installed a double din Kenwood DDX512 in mine with no problems after I got a double din adapter.

There are wiring harness adapters that will let you use your factory wiring harness plug. You can check cruchfield for one for you mustang

How much will i have to pay for a wiring adapter?
do i even need one?
where can i get one?

Thanks for the info guys, my Shaker 500 is starting to crap out on me and freeze.

im going to pick up some extra shifts at work and try to make some good tips so i can afford it without dipping into my college money, (Mum would be pissed lol)
