My GT500 conversion......DONE!!
Its a total bolt on...so easy its almost elemental. If there is any 'hard part', it would be wiring the new fogs into place which you only have to extend one of the two lines (but change out both plugs), and then trim both inner fender liners if you want to save cash like I did by modifying your stock GT ones to fit. The front end is held on by no kidding, 6 bolts. Two on top and then two on each side down where the bumper meets the fender edge. Oh, the only other thing needed to do is to take the turn signal bracket off of the stock GT front end and then pop rivet it on to the GT500 one. That really is about it. Check out mellows thread, if I remember right, he has a pretty much a step by step explaination. I had found a 'how to" guide on another site before mellow even did his that explained it so that was the one I initially went off of. But I took it off and on so many times I pretty much knew how to do it by heart by the time the parts were painted and I put them on at his shop. It is definately something that you can do with a minimum of effort and tools.
Of course, there are a ton of guys here on this site who could give a ton of advice given a chance too, so you would be far from being in the dark over every step.

I have the twist pins and Trufiber Hood. The clearance between the outside edge of the pin and the recessed area of the hood is dangerously tight. First time they were installed they chipped the brand new paint. Too tight.
I would like to hear more on the install or any photos would be great.
I love that they finally got closer to the actual Super Snake hood. The big middle support was just so ugly IMO. This model is the best looking one yet. Do you have side pics of the hood. I like the way it looks from the front but I havent seen any side pics showing the way it would look from different angles.
