+1 cake

+2 wratcheting wrenches

You don't even have to get the car in the air. It can be done without being jacked up. It makes it a little easier but I did mine without it.

What do I need to know about to switch my stock mufflers to the GTA's?

The unopened box is in my garage and I'm going to attempt the install tomorrow. Thanks.
You sure you can handle the weight of those things. They are pretty heavy when your laying on your back and trying to get them connected. I had mine installed but hey, more power to you if you can do it. Not being condescending, just don't want you to hurt yourself.

I'll be sure to double check my metric tools for the 13mm and 15mm sizes.
I can also back up on a couple of boards to get some extra clearance under the car.

No, it's true, I don't have the arm strength to hold the muffler above my head with one hand while I'm turning the wrench with the other. I do have someone that is going to help me.

You guys are great, thanks!

Mine didn't line up right and in the end I just took it to a muffler shop and paid them $30 to fix it. I didn't feel like pulling them out again and hammering on the hangers. And at the time I didn't have a jack or jackstands to get under there and loosen up the midpipe.

When out swapped my Flowmasters for the MBRPs a few weeks ago, I didn't even use ramps or anything. I just got under there and swapped everything out.

That's the main reason I suggest people read TacoBill's write-up before the install. 99% of any misalignment can be fixed by loosening the muffler-to-midpipe clamp and midpipe-to-H pipe clamp. That $30 could have gone towards a set of RhinoRamps.
