Im taking my spoiler off, I know to cut the adhesive with fishing string, but what kind of adhesive remover did you use that was safe on the finish? Goo gone? Help me out. Thanks.

3m Adhesive and Wax remover. You can find ths in Wal-mart in the automotive section near the 3m adhesives and tape . This is the only stuff I use and it is Paint Friendly!

I used both Goo-Gone and WD-40 a few weeks ago when I had to remove my chin to have it reparayed, they both worked well, and are paint friendly.

Goo Gone and roll it with your thumb.
Keep the surface wet with GooGone so
the rolled 3M tape adhesive does not
keep sticking to the paint as it rolls off.

yeah get ready for about an hour a side depending on how new your adhesive is. I put my GT500 spoiler on about 2000miles after I got the car and it udder hell taking that crap off. Just getting the spoiler off was a pain enough.
