borla sounds like sh** after x pipe install
ok this is my first post, i just bought an 09 gt 2 weeks ago, the day after i bought it i installed a borla aggressive axleback and it sounded great just not quite loud enough. I hear everyone talk about how they install a bassani o/r x pipe and it sound even better. Well this weekend i installed my bassani o/r x and it sounds like hell, its raspy and has a real bad tin can sound at about 3-4000 rpm. Im not quite sure what to do. Has anyone else experienced this?

yes its common. IMO almost all mufflers sound like crap with off-road x-pipes. The off-road h-pipes are a little better but still sound crappy.
If you want it louder, want to keep your stingers, then...
1) get rid of the offroad x-pipe
2) get some LT headers (MAC, JBA, BBK are the cheapest)
3) get a high flow catted h-pipe.

If you search for my posts, you'll see I just went through this same problem (except I have an h pipe). Go to an exhaust shop and have them weld in two resonators (glasspacks) just in front of the rear axle. This will solve your problem

Get some resonators welded in, it will help with the raspyness.
