Default KOOKS LT's are NOT too expensive.

I just got done talking to Lethal Performance about the MAC LT's for my 06 GT. For the MAC LT's with O/R Prochamber, O2 extensions, Ford Racing Stage 8 Header bolts, Prothane Motor Mounts, and PYPES hi-flow cats (they do not sell the motor mounts or cats) for a grand total of 1295.39. Now granted the KOOKS LT's are available for close to that price, they do not include the motor mounts or the header bolts which when taken away from Lethals price is 185.99. So, the price between less expensive headers and KOOKS is merely less than 200.00 for the setup I was wanting to run. Also that setup (MAC) doesnt include the cutting and welding in of the cats which would probably bring that total HIGHER than the KOOKS Lt's. So, looks like I will be going KOOKS rather than MAC. Less headache as far as I am concerned. This is NOTHING bad about Lethal, just merely that it is whom I spoke with.

you can get the BBK LTs ceramic coated with welded hi-flow catted x-pipe through american muscle for around $900. Without ceramic coating for around $800.

So in comparision yes they are expensive.

Thanks, but thats assuming I want an X-Pipe. I actually wanted the catted Prochamber but when adding everything up it is close to or more expensive than just going with the KOOKS which I hear fit great anyway.

Mine fit perfect, no issues, I bought the stage 8 locking bolts & did not use them cause they looked like a pita. I got free jet hot coating last year on special & they look incredible still, I recomend it.

Like I said, I would like the Prochamber, but it looks like I am going to go with the KOOKS setup with the "H" pipe and cats. I am now looking at the ARH's as well since the price is comparable.

I would like to hear a video of the exhaust afterwards since this is the setup I am considering buying once the car is paid for. I have the boomtubes just like you do.

I want to hear from you whether there is any trumpeting or rasp once you get this put on. The boomtubes sound so good on an otherwise stock car. I have high hopes they won't sound like a whale fart after the kooks go on.
