Thumbs up Electronics Package

Hey kinoman2002, thanks for getting the electronics package (that's what I work on). Let me know how you like the new navigation system, and congrats on the new car!

For those of you able to get under MSRP on this car, kudos to you.

Remember when the S197's were selling at thousands OVER sticker for the 05 and 06 model years?

Sweet man, grats on the good deal! I have found that the most effective technique when a dealer doesn't give me a good deal, is to go across town to another one and tell them exactly what the other guy did. They LOVE to make the other guy look bad, and in my experience many will bend over backwards to do it.

That's right. That's what I did when the first dealer didn't even try to negotiate the price with me. And it worked!

I shopped at night and called during busisness hours with a stock# to get a
confirmed low price before even stepping into the dealerships showroorm.
They have no power to sell to you when its not in person and will give
you the bottom line get to get a confirmed no hassle sale onto their lot.
$19,998 was the sticker and I got quoted $17,087 before I even drove
down there to test drive and inspect the stang I picked out the night before.
It had not even been off of the truck for 72 hours before I bought it.
Persistance and lot roaming found the desired stang, after 2 years of looking.
Those that wait get the best deals AND what they want instead of just settling.
I am currently looking for an 09 or 10 Challenger in DeepWater Blue Pearlcoat
with the 26G package and sunroof. I cant find one locally to same my ****.
but when the time is right...

The new interior and most of the new sheet metal is what makes the new 2010 appealing. I wouldn't be saving any money..I'd be buying a newer version of what I already have.

Glad you are enjoying yours though.

I have been on three Ford car lots in the last 2 months, specifically shopping for a 2010GT. I left my card, but talked no numbers, but reflected my seriousness. At that time 2010 GT's were not on the lots. As of today, none of the Dealers have called me to encourage me to buy. What is happening in the Car World? They are not selling, yet they are not pursuing.
