New Shifter Problem...Or is it Normal?
I got a new B&M shifter, and 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd are awesome! I do seem to be having a problem from 3rd to fourth. I don't wanna slam it in, but when I shift from 3rd to 4th, it seems like it stops before it goes all the way in...or clunks. I'm not sure if that's just because of the driveshaft with the shifter, or if that's normal with this shifter. It didn't happen with the stock one, so I'm wondering if I wanna put it in quick do I just not worry about the clunk? Thanks!

not familiar with the b&m but it could be the bushings are tight, (the poly ones)
it could be that there is a loose bolt somewere in the shifter.
If that doesnt help appreciate there is an increase in NVH from an aftermarket shifter,
as for the pause its either a angle thing with the remote shifter, or a syncro issue.
that being said your car is an 05 and there has been issues with syncros.
if your concerned put your oem shifter back on and if the problem goes away there you go. if not and you can feel any issues take in to the dealer and tell them to fix it under warranty

I'm thinkin since it's kind of new still that it might just need to be worn in a little more. It's not stiff anymore like it was when I got it. So maybe it just needs a little wear and tear.
