I would like to point out that when people post thier 1/4 mile times they sometimes will mention ambient temperature. This is good, however almost nobody has mentioned at what altitude their runs were made. This is an extremly important factor and has a huge effect. For example where I live the drag strip is at 2200' above sea level and no car here runs nearly as fast as the same car runs at sea level.. So I'd like to ask anyone who posts their 1/4 mile times to also mention at least a rough idea of the altitude they are running at. Thanks!
