Smile AVIC Z2 Speed Sensor Lead Connection

Hello there,

A warm salute to all mustang lovers and Ford enthusiast!

I am new to this community and i am looking for some info, i currently have an AVIC Z2 connected to my 2006 Mustang GT, i had the system installed at a shop, but for some weird reason the speed sensor lead does not recognize the signal from the car's computer, and the unit is functioning on simple hybrid mode, which basically takes the speed reference from the GPS, (not to acurate), if anybody out there has some info on how to connect (find) the correct speed sending lead from the car would apreciate the help

Correct, Front left under hood right behind passenger headlight. Pull the top PCM cover off, and hunt for a yellow and blue wire. Tap into that, and that is the speed sensor you will need.

I run my Avic-D3 from it and it works fine.

Isn't there supposed to be a speed sensor wire in wiring harness to the Shaker 1000 system since it has speed sensitive volume control??

Yes, i believe it's a pink blue wire, that is the one the shop connected it to, with no luck! i'll try the blue wire with yellow stripe! is this one located on the PCM connector or can i tap into it from elsewere?

I'll keep you posted!!
