Default Axle Backs

Can anyone tell me what exhaust the 09 GT/CS came with? I am looking to possible upgrade to GTAs...best place to get them?...and finally, the GTAs are bolt up (no welding, ect), correct?

Don't quote me on this, but I believe they came with a regular rolled tip GT exhaust. GTAs are a simple bolt on design and it shouldn't take that long to do. Bolting on is the easy part, alignment is a pain though :P

Best price? That hard to say, however they are priced from around $400 or so.

I bought the GTA's in March on e-bay for $299 + 30 shipping.

Google of the part number just now got me this:

nice, thanks...y'all like them better than stock? I don't want to go too loud, just a touch, and don't want any drone at all (eliminating the stingers, I believe?!?)

Alignment tough?

I don't have the GTAs, but I have the GTBs - almost the same, but its deeper, not louder and deeper like the GTAs. None of these have drone

Na its not bad, but it just take a while.

I would say they are deeper sounding than stock and only very slightly louder.
I've got 4.10's on my 5-speed and have no drone on the highway.

For some reason we had a bit more trouble lining up the bolts on the driver's side. Follow these instructions: https://mustangforums.com/forum/2005...ll-w-pics.html

Here's my before:

That's 3m body side molding lining my taillights. Did that back in 2005 before the bezels were available as aftermarket.

Several places have the black bezels now:
