Well this is something I learned with my Kenne Bell when I had it on my 5.0. For some reason that I can't fully remember, the larger the displacement the less boost a supercharge makes for the same size pulley. So the 4.6 being smaller than the 5.4L actually plays to the 4.6s advantage when being supercharged. Not to mention the fact that I think the GTs are a much better platform than the Shelbys, especially given the huge price differences for each.
