Default Front alignment tools

I want to do my own 4 wheel alignments. I just took my car to a local 4 wheel alignment shop. Devious people... they charged me $79+$35/ea to adjust my upper camber plates!!!!! $35 per side and I stopped them afer the first side, so I had a $79 + $35 charge. Complete BS.. I can adjust my upper camber plates in less than three minutes... $35 per side!!!!! they would have charged me $70 for all of about six minutes of work. This is raping the consumer at it's best.

I see that Summit has alignment tools... what are the other alignment tools that are required? I mean, it's only a slight tie-rod adjustment they charge $80 for!!

Could you point to any how-tos? I'd love to learn. Trying to learn to do as much myself with this car as I can, or at least as much as I'm comfortable with.
