thanks mxg. that's not a bad idea. I know I get an uncomfortable amount of oil-blow by. That may have cause a dirty throttle body. Tomorrow is going to be a nice day so I will be trying out the free solutions first. I'll reload my tune and clean the throttle body. I need a filter change so I'll do that to and see where it goes from there.

 

Count me in on this problem.... I don't have a BAP and have this issue. Car stumbles at takeoff when cold, wideband goes lean. Seems to never happen when warm..... No other problems when in boost or normal driving.

I'm running a Brenspeed tuned super shaker with 3.675 pulley, 39lb injectors and stock pump with a BAP awaiting install. Please post up what Brenspeed tells you. I know of at least one other person that has this issue as well.

Hopefully someone can pinpoint this gremlin...

 

I haven't had much time to do all the things i've wanted to do, but i've tested a couple of theories. I've disconnected the battery for 15 min and reloaded my tune. No success there. I also cleaned the throttle body and it still does the same thing. I haven't had time to change the fuel filter, but I don't believe that will really do anything. I'm still pointing to the BAP as the problem because I notice when I go lean and give it MORE gas, I can hear the BAP spool up. it starts as a low tone and quickly starts to get very high pitched. Almost as it is trying to catch up. I've been pretty busy and would like to contact brenspeed. It seems there are a lot of people with this issue, hopefully someone else with the same problem can give brenspeed a call and post their response here. Anyone else having this problem and NOT running BAP?
