Default Nitto 555r Drag Radials Anyone?

Anyone running these? How do you like them? I used to have MT ET Streets which were really nice, but i found a good deal on these nittos... just looking for some feedback before i pull the trigger. Oh, and these will be used for the drag strip only.

I just bought a set recently. I've only had 1 chance to run them at the track, but I lowered my best time from 13.3 to 13.04. Although this was also after I had a custom tune done. I don't think I lowered the pressure enough in them or heated them up enough. I know next time I get to the track, I'll be in the 12's with lower psi in the Nittos. For the money, I think they are a great buy.

If they are just going to be used for the track, you might just be better off with a stickier tire. The 555R's are great for DD'ing, though, as they get more mileage out of most any other "Drag radial" tire.

Dude, i would pick those up in a heartbeat if i was local. I dont want to be paying $450 then like another $100 for shipping. Where-as these nittos mounted on stock 17s are $350. Guy claims they have 100 miles on them, and the pics look good.
