I just bought a set of Nitto NT05's they haven't come yet but from what I have read they are an amazing tire, sticky as hell and smooth (for what they are) and really sharp in turns and stuff, maybe think about those...I'm not sure how good your deal on the 555's are...and the NT05 isnt REALLY a drag tire but idk deff worth a look. I got mine 275/40/18 for just under $190 I thought it was a good price...still do.

Also they are my DD tires...I'm hoping on getting ~20K miles out of them, is this at all realistic? I know they're a 200 tread wear...

He may think it, I KNOW it, lol. I am going the exact opposite of you, I am going from the Nitto's to the M/T's. I am hoping my 60 times come down from the current 1.9's I am cutting to 1.5's. The one thing that IS good about Nitto's is they last awhile for a DR, and the dealer told me I can expect about 3K out of the MT's, which isn't a whole lot. But, for traction when you're supercharged, there isn't anything better that's legal on the street than an MT is what everyone I talk to says. Some even say they hook better than their line of cheater slicks.

How many miles did the OP get out of his MT's????

I bought them used for $400. 4 stock wheels, 2 stock tires, 2 mt et streets with what he said was around 30 passes. I used them for about 20-30 passes and about 1500 miles before they were gone. Even when they were COMPLETELY bald, they hooked. Its pretty amazing lol.
