I have the stingers and my vert is my DD and i commute 60 miles a day to school. I dont mind the drone at all really, and love the clean sound they make. I thought for a long time about what A/B to get and went with stingers, and am very happy.

for you that have them, stingers, have you heard them next to the GTAs? I am looking into the GTAs as there is "supposed" to be zero drone, and am afriad that the stingers are going to be too loud...I have stock everything right now

I have not heard the 2 side-by-side but IMO, from what's been said here, the GTA's would have been too mild for me. The Stingers are not loud but definately louder and deeper than stock until you go 1/2 or 3/4 WOT or higher. THEN they're fantastic but not window shattering.

At startup they will really growl but calm down after about 15-20 seconds as the idle drops a bit. My g/f loves the Stingers and says "Your exhaust is gonna make me slip off this seat..." That's MORE than enough for me!

I have 4.10s so the drone really isn't a problem for me, so I don't really mind it. It's a daily driver. It could be louder IMO, but that is only because I have become accustomed to its loudness. When I first got them, I was blown away.

I also got the Borla's as opposed to the FRPP or Steeda (or Roush?) because I got mine used off the forums here for $300 shipped to my door. Can't get much better than that!

without hearing either...man it's a real guess...I just don't want too loud, and window shaking...Yikes...I could get both, the stingers and the GTAs, but I would have to downgrade from my house to a box, and I'll pass on that...I wish more people (mustang) met up here in Houstoni like they did when I lived in MI...We used to have contour meet and greets every thursday or so...it was a great way to see, hear and discuss mods, ect...What to order, what to order???My stocks are the most decent stock pipes I've ever hear, but have only owned truck and not cars...the 40 series flowmaster on my ram is WAY to obnoxious, drones, and was installed right under the cab instead of downstream (i was a kid persay when I had it done...3 years ago)I dunno...more research I guess

I love my FRPP stingers with an o/r h pipe
there is a drone that i've paid attention to recently...it just doesnt really bother me that much. i can just change gears to not hear it anyways. plus it sounds awesome from the outside.
