Borla Stingers?
#21
The frpp's are exactly the same as the borlas, tips and all... the only diff is the stamping and possibly the finish... never seen the borlas in person. But to answer your question, stingers all the way! I love em... its my daily driver in the summer and doesn't bother me one bit... and if it does, it's very easy to shift around it. for example: the only time i get bad drone is at about 55mph in 5th gear and i step on it... but i just drop her in 4th if i need to accelerate at that speed... cruisin at a steady speed it's just fine! Can't wait for the offroad H and hot rod cams! she's really gonna sound mean then

The Borlas/Stingers are not window shaking. Like I mentioned earlier, the will growl pretty loud for about the first 20-30 seconds on startup but after that they really sound nice, not obnoxious until you go more than 1/2 WOT. On occasion, I wish my Stingers were a tad louder. IMO, you'll be disappointed that the GTA's aren't loud enough.

FRPP Stingers here, cold start sounds perfect wish they would keep that tone all the time ,I don't mind the drone but you can get out of the drone range pretty quick if it bothers you. I've noticed after about a year now that their not loud enough for my taste, thinking about off-road H

The reason the exhaust sounds so wicked on cold start is that the ignition is retarded on cold start and once running timing advance is added which smoothes out the idle.
Sure sounds good for the first 15 seconds though.
