Default california?

Quick question, does the mustang Gt and the shelby 500, have any additional emissions equipment in california?

reason I ask, I am on the verge of selling my gt and getting a used 500, but I wont buy one from california if it is slower or the exhaust is toned down.

Thanks to all who reply...

I think they're the same. I think they all say under the hood that they're built to comply with emissions regulations in all states including CA. So they should be the same.

Victoria is right...
If it didn't comply with CA BS laws, it would me mentioned on the label under your hood.
Besides, Ford wouldn't want to miss out on CA sales.
It's a huge market, as it is the most populated State.

I'm curious as to why emissions laws are "BS". They are designed to lessen pollution aren't they? Nobody can really prevent pollution. Any attempt at creating less pollution should be a good thing, not BS.
