It looks odd, I don't like the pinched front, the fat slanted lower plastic ***, the tacky hood scoop, nor the wheels. The 05-09 is the best I think, cool without trying, will be remembered as leading the return of the muscle cars. I'm glad I snatched one of the last '09 a month ago.

The 2010 Mustang still looks better than the new Camaro though.

$42,000!!?!?!?!

I'll take an 08 GT500 please...

How the frigging hell does Ford expect Mustang sales to compete with Camaro/Challenger sales when we're getting less power and oh yea, paying the same IF NOT MORE! Bad call on the dealerships' part.

I mean, what if there was..like..a recession going on where consumption was at generation-low levels, banks were charging 12%+ to borrow, and unemployment was creeping up on double-digit levels...not to mention the first sustained period of deflation in prices since the 1950's? Wait a second...

What dealership are you looking at? I have priced out several with the dealer optioned how i want and none were close to that. The new Camaro with the V8 starts at $34,040. The new Mustang Premium with V8 I optioned out nicely was $34,887. plus i get X-plan discount. not sure what your looking at for $42k

GOOD POINTS:
More Aerodynamic
Cowl Hood
Black Chrome Grille Pony
Better Quality Interior

NEGATIVE POINTS:
All of the wheel options
GTs plastic grille - V6 looks better
Ugly Antenna
Ugly Black Plastic around entire car
Plastic bottom makes it look extra high
Sloping Taillights
Angular Mirrors
Huge Chrome Faux Gas Cap
Huge Rear Wing

After making this list it seems I don't like it too much but I like the overall look. I'll probably get used to it eventually.

i stopped at a dealer today in dallas and they had about 7 or so,,,only two were GT's....................the only thing i like is the front clip,,,,,the back end is horrible "kind of like a rx8 and a mustang had a one night stand and that was the offspring"...the trunk looked like it didnt fit well "big gaps" the seats looked the same "but with colored stitching",....and on and on........

I recently looked at a similar GT except it had the glass roof. The wheels, yes they are hideous and look cheap. Way to much unpainted plastic. The wierdest color red interior I have ever seen, even though I thought the seats would look great with the right color. And yes it was over $39,000 msrp.
