Jack with a floor jack from the jack points in the owners manual, then slide boards under the front wheels. After this, if you want it higher, remove the jack, place a board under the jack, jack again, and slide another board under the front wheel.
Do one side at a time incrementally.

if i can offer some advice. dont buy the floor jack and jack stand kit from autozone. I thought it was a great deal at $50 for a floor jack and 2 jack stands. But the floor jack is so pathetic.
1) it wont fit under my lowered stang
2) it wont lift my toyota yaris high enough from the front center jack point. So i can place two jack stands under the left and right side.
Just get some ramps and be done with it. Or just park on an incline!

For those of you that are lowered (like me)... I just drive up on a folded floor mat (each side). The jack will fit then.. For more room.. driving up onto old tennis shoes works well too
As far as jack stands.. I put them where the notch is on the rocker. Works fine..
