Default Pypes X pipe mounting

I am going to change out the H pipe to a Pypes X pipe. I have notice that the X pipe has a hanger for a exhaust mount and the H pipe does not. I looked unde the car and there is no exhaust hanger mount on the car near the tranny. The X pipe has the hanger near the tranny but no mounts on the car. I was wondering where can I pick up the mounts to keep the X pipe from vibrating to much.

You dont need the mounts.. ford did away with them after 2007.you just need to cut off the 2 hangers on the X pipe(so they dont rub on anything) and it will be fine! I had the same problem with my 08. they wont vibrate or anything!

I was just worried that it might have vibration from making the cut on the exhaust near the CATS and not having the exhaust mounts near the tranny. I will be mounting the X pipe this weekend. Does anyone know on how the Pypes X pipe are?

I have the pypes x-pipe. I just used some tie wire and tied the hangers up to the cross member for some extra ground clearance because my x-pipe was hanging pretty low with the mid-mufflers.

Which X pipe are you doing? the splice-in or the O/R? if its the splice-in its pretty easy...just measure..cut and clamp or weld! pypes quality is not all that great...but its ok for the price!
