Default et guess

Going to the track with the mustang this weekend and thought it might be fun for some off the more experianced guys to guess the et before the runs. here is the way the car is set up.
06 gt automatic, bbk cold air, bbk throttle body, bbk underdrive pulleys, mac mufflers, 3.90 gears, nitto 275/40/17 should put the final gear at 4.13 sct tuner with custom breenspeed tunes will run on 93 tune.

I do bracket racing so the driver should be consistant. I have a little bet with my son he thinks 12.9s Im think 12.8s the weather is not looking the best so the humidity will be thru the roof.

I would agree with the 12.9. But who knows. Let us know and have fun.

By the way what kind of 3.90 gears do you have and do they whine, Im thinking of getting them, I was looking at the pro 5.0's, and how did you like them performance wise

Nitto street tires or drag radials? 4.13 gear is alot to be hooking up on a street tire, esp with a short sidewall. What kind of DA do you anticipate?

^+1 on the 4.13 gear on street tires... i'm guessing your 60's will be a little over 2.0's if you're launching at around 2k rpms on the stock converter. Any suspension mods done to the car??

How good is a 2.0 on street tires? I pulled a 2.0 last night and was told it was good for street tires. I have stick and I lit the tires the **** up in first.

Sorry guy I forgot to add the tires are the nitto drag radial and I am using the roush lowering springs in the rear end. The gears came from jegs a few years ago and I can't remeber if it was there house gear or not. Ok I'm tired and cant figure out what DA is?
I will tell you the pirellies would go up in smoke with this combo that's the reason we went ahead with the drag radial.

similiar mods to mine and I ran a 13.04. I know I can get 12's with my combo. I say you run a 12.8-12.9 if the weather is decent and a low 13 if it's really hot out
