Default Base model A/C filter?

I just got a base model V6 Automatic on Monday.

In the manual, I thought I read something about an a/c filter being standard - and, it is supposedly near the windshield on the passenger side?

Can someone post a pic showing me where it is? Or, maybe it is only on the higher models?

I have saved a lot of money on my 2003 Toyota Matrix by changing my a/c cabin filter myself, and even making my own.

I'd like to be able to do something simlar and not pay for labor for this...

Thanks!

You just have to remove the passengers side.
The wipers dont need to be removed to gain access
to the cabin air filter for replacement.

very easy. The hardest thing is getting the push pins out. I was using my fingers. I change mine in the fall and spring after the pollen is gone.
