Hey was just thinking about something small i could do to the outside of my car appearance wise. I was wondering if anyone knows the best deal on a set of painted side scoops.

I don't want bad quality ones that will have paint flaking off in 2 months. I would also prefer a pair that have a grille on them, not a piece of black fake plastic for the grille.

However, post up any current side scoop deals.

if you want some good side scoops then u could go with some GT/CS scoops, i know u dont want the fake plastic on it, but if u want quality u might have to settle... you could get some cervini scoops, but those are bulky and would not look good unless you have other mods to match up with the bulk, those dont have a grille mesh, but i would imagine you could always have them cut up some chicken wire and stick it in there...

beware of some terrible knockoffs though... ive always paid high price because i wanted good quality stuff, so my prep and paint costs were low, my window louvers were no more then 120 for prep and paint. my freind didnt want to spend alot of money so he got, what he thougth were cervini window scoops and side scoops from ebay, for those 4 peices it cost him over 660 for prep and paint...

and back to the bulky point, my freind had a V6, so it was relatively small, and when i drove behind him and saw those window scoops and side scoops jutting out i thought "WOW, THAT LOOKS LIKE ****!!!" but now he has them on his GT/CS and the extra size of the GT, Rear Valance, Rocker Panels, Chin Spoiler, put the massive *** scoops, into alot more proportion...
