okay so i have my 09 mustang gt premium with cai+tune and boomtubes with little over 1900 miles completely paid off. my baby is due any day and i know a car seat will be a pain in the butt. we also have a 01 grand prix but currently the mustang is my dd and when winter comes i will have to buy a beater considering i live in northwestern ohio. we have a truck here at my work (im leaving make/model out) that we got for 9k i can get it for 11k its worth 13k. the dealership i purchased my car from is offering me 20k for my car (bastards) wat do u think i should do? the truck is an 02 with a nice body kit and is a full size 4x4 and is a quad cab

 

btw yes i do still have the 83 mustang but its kinda a pos as of now

Dude im in the same boat, i love my car so much but it just isnt practical. I also need a truck. Those rams get extremely bad gas mileage. Im talking about 8-10 mpg. But they are nice. At least you will still have one mustang. I say go for it.

 

Im confused....are you trading in your mustang for a pickup??? if so, 20K for a 09 GT with only 1900 mi is an insult (paid off or not)! I feel you on the whole baby thing, but you have a car you love thats paid for and you "can" actually fit a baby seat in it..as well as drive it year-round if needed (lots of guys here do) and you do have another car as well..so id think it over before making that decision. I once traded in a 97 cobra on a pickup..trying to do the whole family thing and had tons of regrets in the long run!

almost in the same boat..my wife will be induced on wednesday this week! i have a 2001 vette and my 08 gt...i don't have any snow issues, and my five year old can ride up front with his booster seat. so, we sold the wife's 08gt500 for 39,999 to a local friend, and she bought a new 3.5 Maxima(problem solved)...the baby seat can fit in my mustang, if absolutely needed!, but the maxima is the family cruiser, and we can always "temporarily" exchange cars, since she can drive the hell out of an s197
